Refund & Returns Policy

We stand by the quality of our solar products and services. If you are not completely satisfied, here’s how returns and refunds are handled.

1. Scope

This policy applies to products purchased directly from Rural Sun Power (online or offline) and covers returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty-related procedures. It does not replace any specific manufacturer warranty which may apply.

2. Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled items in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
  • Items must be returned with proof of purchase (invoice or delivery receipt).
  • Customized, specially ordered or installed systems are not eligible for return unless they are defective or delivered incorrectly.

3. Defects, Damage & Wrong Items

If a product arrives defective, damaged in transit, or if an incorrect item was delivered, contact us immediately. We will arrange inspection and, where validated, either replace the product at no cost or issue a refund.

4. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  • Shipping and installation fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item, damaged on arrival).

5. Exchanges

We will replace items that are defective or damaged during delivery with the same or an equivalent product (subject to availability). Exchanges should be requested within the 7-day return window.

6. Warranty & After-Sales Service

Some products are covered by manufacturer or Rural Sun Power warranties which are handled separately from this returns policy. Warranty claims depend on the product’s warranty terms — labor, spare parts and replacement terms vary by product and manufacturer.

7. Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized systems, products that have been installed, or goods altered after delivery (unless defective).
  • Items damaged by misuse, improper installation (not performed by Rural Sun Power), or unauthorized repairs.
  • Promotional giveaways and gift cards.

8. How to Request a Return / Refund

  1. Contact our support team with your order number and a short description of the issue.
  2. Follow the return instructions provided by our team (we may request photos/videos for faster validation).
  3. Pack the item securely; use the original packaging where possible.
  4. Ship or schedule pickup as instructed. Keep your tracking information until the return is completed.
